MRS JUSTINA C. MBANUGO (NEE ODUM) WIFE OF LATE CHIEF DR G C MBANUGO (CFR) OGENE OF OBOSI PASSES ON. ADIEU MOTHER DEAREST!!!

With humility, obeisance and honor to God the Alpha and Omega, on behalf of my brothers and sisters, I formerly announce the Homegoing to be with Our Lord and Creator of our dearly beloved mother, “Dinyelugo” Justina Chikwubelum Mbanugo (nee Odum) on Thursday, the 28th of August, 2014 at Enugu. With a broken heart, devastation and yet gratitude to God for a life well spent, we weep, we mourn, we rejoice, and ultimately we give God the glory for her lifetime on earth. The Almighty God is the giver and taker of life. He is the creator who lights the candle, dims the candle and at His chosen and appointed discretion extinguishes the light called life.

Mama, the reality is there will never be another you because you were uniquely created and sanctified by God. As we mourn, we shall concentrate on the best times and cherish the pleasant memories we had with you while you were living, and try not to feel so blue and move forward with God’s ordained journey called life. You’re in a wonderful place called Heaven where it is peaceful and reunited in soul and spirit with your husband; our father (daddy) Ogene Obosi, whom his entire children have immensely missed for 25 long years; and our other departed dearly beloved family members. Revelation 22:4-5 says, “They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever.”

May the Almighty God who is glorious and victorious in all, in His infinite mercy receive your soul and grant you eternal repose, peace and tranquility. Since this world is not our eternal home, the loved ones that you left behind won’t lose heart, but rather be joyful as we mourn and celebrate and thank God for the blessing of having you in our lives. God be with you and with your spirit until we meet again where we will never grow old when we reach that distant shore.

So “Where, O Death is your victory? Where, O Death is your sting?” Death may seize a believer, but it cannot hold them in its power. For by Christ dying for us has taken away this sting by atonement and remission for our sins. We Thank You Jesus for the Victory.

      Rest in Peace dearest Mama!!!
