President Buhari, The only blood in my veins is the Blood of Jesus and it is UNCHANGEABLE AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Just perusing through the inaugural speech of President Muhammadu Buhari. His speech writers definitely did a terrible job of writing his speech for him. The man may mean well but some of his statements came out the wrong way for people like me still see him as a former dictator that overthrew a democratically elected government and now claims to be a "born again-democrat". Buhari is a conservative moslem what does he know about the word "born again"?. Anyway back to his inaugural speeech. In his speech he said: "Furthermore, we as Nigerians must remind ourselves that we are heirs to great civilizations: Shehu Othman Dan fodio’s caliphate, the Kanem Borno Empire, the Oyo Empire, the Benin Empire and King Jaja’s formidable domain. The blood of those great ancestors flow in our veins. What is now required is to build on these legacies, to modernize and uplift Nigeria." ~ Excerpt from President General Muhammadu Buhari, inaugural speech. President Gene

"I belong to EVERYBODY and I belong to NOBODY" ~ PG Mu Buhari. Really Mr President?

"I belong to EVERYBODY and I belong to NOBODY" ~ President General Muhammadu Buhari. Is His Excellency PG Mu Buhari aware that the APC cabals that financed his campaign are part of the "everybody" that he claimed he belongs to, while in the same statement he said he "belongs to nobody"?. A classic example of logical fallacy of Argumentum Verecundia” (argument from modesty) gone wrong. This statement is equivalent to a "glass is half full or half empty" argument at best. Mr President, my take on this statement is that you can't eat your cake and have it too. Just man up and say, "I belong to everybody and not to sycophants and cabals". On a segue note and with due respect, for the record you belong to God Almighty/Allah Akbar.

Buhari Will Settle Niger Delta Militants And Possibly Boko Haram, To Avoid Them Making His Government Ungovernable

"The amnesty programme in the Niger Delta is due to end in December, but the Government intends to invest heavily in the projects, and programmes currently in place. I call on the leadership and people in these areas to cooperate with the State and Federal Government in the rehabilitation programmes which will be streamlined and made more effective." ~  PG Muhammadu Buhari This is the best part of His excellency's speech. His commitment to continue this programme and "even invest heavily in the projects" shows that he does not want Asari Dokubo and the rest of the ex-Niger Deltan militants to make his government UNGOVERNABLE like Boko Haram did in the Jonathan administration. This is a classic example of the "carrot and the stick approach" that former president OBJ always preached about. In my opinion, it is not possible to fight and defeat Boko Haram without some level of human rights violations because we are talking about a group of devil incarna
