A moving audio conversation between John F Kennedy and Nigeria Prime Minister Sir Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa in August 23 1963. Three months later Kennedy was assassinated and 3 years later Balewa was assasinated. Makes me reflect on the huge impact both men would have had in the destiny of their respective countries.

The Obosi community in Anambra State on Saturday celebrated 180 of its people who had clocked between 80 years and 82 years of age. Strauss-Kahn sexual assault trial: This case is all but over due to accuser's credibility issues

The sexual charges leveled against former IMF boss Dominique Strauss-Kahn is just about to be tossed out of the NY criminal court. So many serious credibility issues with this accuser originally from Guinea in Africa. From numerous accounts and also confirmed by the prosecutors office she made so many false claims in her filing documents for her asylum among other things. She said in her asylum papers that her husband was tortured by the military in guinea while in jail and later died, house burnt down, got gang-raped by the military, was violently genitally mutilated, all lies she lat er admitted. She has one phone yet pays five phone bills in the tune of 100's of dollars each month. "The next most important cause of our failure was the behaviour of Ifeajuna himself. Having seen that Ironsi had got loose and was already raising troops against us, Ifeajuna took Okafor with him and both of  them suddenly disappeared from our midst.
